Meet the Manchester web design team
As the business has grown, so has the team. It started as a one-man band on 1st November 2015. Now, it has six core team members and about six others used on an ad hoc contractual basis. We create simple brochure websites to full e-commerce websites with CRMs bolted on.
Stuart Walton leads the team at Get Pro Copy Ltd.
Gareth Simpson is a web designer and owner of High Peak Website Design in Chinley. Gillian McGinn is a copywriter from Prestwich, Manchester. Andy Plues is a Wakefield-based photographer and owner of JAJA Photography. Adnan Ahmad is a graphic designer. Andrew Barker provides CRM solutions.

Stuart Walton
I’m Stuart Walton, a former English teacher. I spent 14 years in Norfolk before returning to my home city, Manchester, in 2022.
I set up Get Pro Copy Ltd in 2015 as a freelance web design and copywriting service for businesses. Being given access to company websites to add blogs, refine content, and optimise copy for search made me realise that I could do web design well.
I live and work near Manchester city centre and can often be spotted walking Cassie, my Border Collie, when having a break.
Gareth Simpson
I’m Gareth Simpson, a web designer based in Chinley in the High Peak, who runs High Peak Website Design.
I host all Stuart’s clients websites and set them up, as well as designing for my own clients. We have worked together for about 6 years now and Stuart and I often collaborate on web design.
I have a range of specialisms, which include hosting, domains, and website design. I’m an accredited expert on Elementor too.
I enjoy working with Stuart and he does with me – so he says!

Gillian McGinn
I’m Gillian McGinn, a former English teacher. I retired in 2023 after working for 34 years at Haslingden High School and Failsworth School. I worked with Stuart in the early 90s. I have taught English to A level during my long career. I am now a copywriter at Get Pro Copy Ltd. I support clients and the business growth. I am delighted to be part of the company.
I live in Prestwich, Manchester with my husband, Mark. We have two sons. Max lives and works in York. Charlie, a teacher, is in Vietnam.

Andy Plues
I’m Andy Plues, a former recruiter turned professional photographer.
My own business is based near Leeds and I’m delighted to be providing photography for Get Pro Copy Ltd, Manchester. Stuart commissioned me in 2021 to take his website photographs in Norwich and when he moved to Manchester, a collaboration was inevitable. We get on so well with each other, and each have a high passion for the work we produce.
Words matter with web design and social media, but so much customer faith stems from visuals.
Adnan Ahmed
I’m Adnan Ahmad. I’m a graphic designer, based in Lahore, Pakistan. I met Stuart online about 8 years ago now, when he was setting up Get Pro Copy Ltd.
We’ve worked together ever since. Stuart trusts me with logo design, brochure design, and graphics. I’ve worked on hundreds of the company’s websites.

Andrew Barker
I’m Andrew Barker, the owner of GoggleCRM.
Like Andy, I’m based in Leeds not far from Get Pro Copy’s Manchester base and I’m delighted to be an extended part of the team.
I run a software CRM system on a fixed monthly fee, with many happy customers.

Responsive
Your website needs to be responsive for mobiles and tablets. They use 5G, and there is unlimited data. Your business needs to be visible on smartphones. Our standard package includes clear calls to action and seamless "call now" buttons. We also integrate social media platforms, so you don't have to pay extra.
Hosting
In Year One, the package price includes hosting your website on superfast servers. It's only £80 per year after 12 months too. We also include a 12 month care package as standard - you want content or image edits, we do them. We update themes and plugins weekly.
SEO
Yoast is not an option at Get Pro Copy Ltd. We install Rank Math Pro as standard on all new websites, with titles, keywords and metadescriptions carefully crafted to propel you up page rankings. Google Analytics is set up for you too so you can see real-time traffic.
Content writing
We also offer a retained copywriting service where Stuart and Gillian craft blog posts for your website. Fresh content is a major Google ranking factor and by providing new information, shared on your social media channels, you establish expertise and trust in your product or service offerings.
Social Media
Your website needs to be not only visible on Google, but also social media. Stuart manages TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram channels for this company and many others for a fair (non-contractual) monthly fee. You will see website visits accelerate and sales swell.
Photography
Stock images are often fine but to differentiate you from rivals, investing in professional photography from Andy is a must. These are all cropped and compressed, with names and ALT tags, before uploading. Make your website stand out with outstanding images.
