I had many doubts, when I left permanent employment as a teacher in 2015, about whether self-employment would work. I started off simply as a copywriter and someone who managed social media and made very little in year one.
Sticking at it though, business grew and in 2018, the business focus tilted more to web design when I started offering freelance web design services.
2019 to 2020 has been a massive success with earnings three times of that I accumulated as a teacher – and 5 years on, today, my only regret is why didn’t I do it sooner?
