We all know how company hierarchies work? The higher you climb, you get a penis extension of an executive car and a designated parking spot with your name on. I’ve seen it in schools locally where the ranks of senior management are swelled with cars on lease, a parking place that tells pupils and visitors that you’re a big wig.
I pulled up to a company about 18 months ago and saw extreme wealth on show in the parking spots – brand new X5s, Range Rovers, Teslas all showing minions they are successful.
Now this is not envy – far from it, I have two lovely whips (going all yoot) but I didn’t have great ones until I became self employed.
You see, in employment, in paid employment, you’re a cog in a money making machine. You won’t ever have the £90k Range Rover and a plaque showing your name because you’re working to make the bosses wealthy.
I only realised this when I went self employed and saw my revenue explode to amounts well beyond what I’d have earned as a headteacher of a large high school.
Public sector pay is shockingly bad and has been for some time.
Now instead of looking on as you drive into work at those parking places and flash cars, plush offices and PAs, do something about it.
These people have got rich through a business idea and by employing people to make them money.
Stop making money for people like this and set up your own business.
